Abstract

It is important to improve the environment of pedestrian space that everyone can use with confidence. The main problem of road surface evaluation for maintaining and managing pedestrian spaces is subjective evaluation, because it is difficult to apply road surface condition measurement vehicles because vehicles cannot enter. In addition, since the IRI is calculated based on a model for automobiles, a method different from that for automobiles is required for road surface evaluation in pedestrian spaces. In this study, we conducted a running test using Four-wheel mobility scooterers and clarified the vibration response related to ride comfort during running. In addition, using a 3D point cloud measurement system developed as a new road surface survey method for pedestrian spaces, we verified the accuracy of road surface evaluation considering the vibration response of personal mobility. As a result, it was confirmed that the road surface can be acquired with high accuracy in the measurement accuracy in the height direction and in the evaluation.
