Abstract
Most of the country of Bangladesh is dominated by the delta and a rural unpaved road becomes unpassable in the rainy season. This paper aims to propose a low technique road repair method by using waste brick materials to improve the rural road situation by local people. The workability, cost and applicability of proposed method are discussed through the result of participatory rural road construction project. Additionally, the mechanical properties of applied material are examined through the laboratory tests. A manual of proposed method has provided from the result of project and experiments and it has shared to participated local association. Actually, local association has been starting the new construction by their effort.
