Abstract

In this paper, parametric studies about earthquake-resistant joints location of RC box culvert subjected to fault displacement are conducted. The fault is set as reverse fault which dip angle is 67.5 degree, and displacement is 0.2m. Joints interval is 20m, and parametric studies about positional relationship between joints and fault are presented. As a result, it is verified that earthquake-resistant joints is effective to decrease longitudinal axial forces, and even where joints interval is fixed value, bending moment and joint displacement depend on positional relationship between joints and fault.
