Abstract
This report is on the result of flexural fatigue test of honeycomb sandwich structure made of NOMEX honeycomb core, glass fabric, KEVLAR-49 fabric and graphite fiber reinforced plastic facing. The flexural fatigue property was obtained by using the fatigue testing machine of constant load type UF-500, and electro hydraulic testing machine SERVOPET Lab-5. The flexural fatigue of the 1/4 NOMEX core sandwich structure is higher than that of 1/8 NOMEX core sandwich structure. We found that the honeycomb sandwich structure with the facing of graphite reinforced plastics can be used as structure components.
