Abstract
The concept of the cumulative failure is applied to the two dimensional structural model, and a two dimensional cumulative failure model is proposed. The constitutive equations of the glass fabric reinforced plastic laminates under biaxial loading are derived from this model. Stress dependency of the Poisson's ratio and biaxial tensile stress strain relation are measured for those laminates. A good agreement between the experimental data and the theoretical predictions are observed.
