This paper reports on the discussions at the 24th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Community Psychology Pre-Congress Workshop (Basic) entitled, “Workshop on a case study from a Community Psychological Perspective.” The Education and Training Committee sponsored the workshop, which was held online. The attendees included the chairperson, a presenter, a commentator, and 14 participants. The participants used a community psychology perspective for discussing a published case report related to multicultural counseling and therapy. These discussions resulted in deeper awareness and increased skills and knowledge related to community psychology in the workshop’s participants. This report discusses the efficacy and the significance of this educational and training method.
