Abstract

B. B. (4mg) or S. B. B. (20mg) was intramuscularly administered prior to X-ray study. Following results were obtained from the upper G. I. series using double contrast technique.
1. The improvement of visualization of pyloric vestibule was much greater in patients with B. B. than that in those with S. B. B., although there was no differences in visualization of angulus or corpus ventriculi between two groups.
2. The lesion in duodenal bulb was more easily diagnosed in B. B. group than in S. B. B. group.
3. The more excellent picture was obtained in B. B. group than in S. B. B. group.
4. There were no remarkable side effects in each group.
