Abstract
Cuttings of 20 species of plants were planted on pots with 3 levels of soil moisture. Plant survival was scored as a sum of root emergence, leaf emergence and stem survival scores. 20 species can be classified into 5 groups according to their survival scores. CAM species showed the highest survival. Correlations of survival scores among 3 treatments were r(H-M)=0.718, r(H-D)=0.583 and r(M-D)=0.931 respectively.
