Abstract
In statistical genetics, the focus is 'haplotypes', which are the major polymorphic markers in DNA data. Therefore, over approximately the last 10 years, the relative frequencies of different haplotypes have been estimated, their structures have been examined, and haplotypes have been used for association studies. We introduce and summarize haplotype analyses of recent years, e.g., identification of haplotype blocks and haplotype association studies.
