Abstract
In the newly developed technologies, various new materials and working fluids are used or proposed. Moreover, the ranges of temperature and pressure for conventional substances have been extended. One of the key informations for new technologies is that of thermophysical properties for these substances. The situation around the thermophysical property research has changed mainly due to new demands and also innovations in measuring technique. These innovations include applications of new sensors, computers and laser.
Recent aspects of thermophysical property research have briefly been reviewed.
