Abstract
Characteristics of seismic records between dam crest and its foundation contains dynamic property of the dam body. Focusing on the dynamic characteristics indicated by the earthquake record, authors estimated dynamic deformation property of dam body from actual earthquake records of rock-fill dam. And using the obtained dynamic deformation properties, reproduction analysis of rock-fill dam under the strong ground motion of Iwate Miyagi Inland Earthquake was performed and examined its applicability. This paper shows important point to set the dynamic deformation characteristics of embankment of the existing rock-fill dam.
