Grasping Method of Degradation State of Fill Dam's Riprap with the use of UAV

Abstract

Fill dam's riprap plays a roll preventing rock material from movement and erosion. For stability of fill dam it's important to maintain riprap's function. At Doyoh dam, our company's dam, state of riprap materials are observed by comparing the old and new pictures in addition of our patrol and inspection. This time as new technology with the use of UAV, rock type and degradation state of riprap material were surveyed and evaluated.
