Abstract
Estimation of residual porepressure during reservoir drawdown plays a very important role for design of prevention works against landslides around dam reservoir. However, few papers on residual porepressure are reported based on measured data obtained from several sites. Therefore, the author collected such data from many landslides around dam reservoir and analysed condition of residual porepressure during reservoir drawdown. At the same time, analyses were carried out to simulate relation between reservoir drawdown and groundwater table fluctuation in boreholes. As a result, relatively good correspondence was obtained between measured and calculated value.
