Abstract
Many kinds of measuring equipments are embedded in concrete dams in order to assure the safety of dams and to improve their structural design method. Behavior of a 91m high concrete gravity dam is analized in this paper. The main concern is paid to vertical stress at the heel of the dam and stress across the longitudinal joint.
