Abstract
A set of class libraries is developed and applied to education of mechanics. The feature of this library set is for Java application including Java Applet, which is platform and OS independent and able to be connected in internet. While the current methodology for mechanical design is concentrated into Finite Element Method models, they are not applied to basic education for mechanics because of complexity of management. In this study, developed class libraries are found to be able to be applied to typical catalogues for beam model, and quiz system automatically generated by a server system. This both of usages for education and engineering application are called here as the hybrid library. The education system may be rearranging the knowledge base of engineer working for industries. Some tests in classroom can make confirmation for the applicability for education.
