Abstract
In this report, we investigated the daily physical activity and its relation with the physical fitness among the students in the upper-grade of elementary school. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The strength of physical activity (the LC strength of physical activity) measured by the Life Coda significantly correlated to the percentage VO2max. The result indicates that the LC strength is an index of the strength of physical activity of a student. 2. The LC strength of students at school was significantly higher than that at home. 3. The daily physical activity and the number of steps of students were low in holidays (Saturday and Sunday), compared with those in the weekdays (Monday - Friday). The difference was observed both in boys and girls. The indices were particularly high in the day with physical education lesson. 4. In girls, a significantly positive correlation was observed between the daily physical activity and the physical fitness.
