Abstract

Using a small Peltier element, the amount of condensate was evaluated with respect to wind velocity (0.23 to 1.22 m/s) at a temperature of 20 °C and a relative humidity of about 90%. The results showed that the corrected condensate volume for specific humidity increased with increasing wind velocity, reaching a maximum value of 1.52 g/h at 0.75 m/s, and then decreased. Theoretical calculations also showed the same trend of increase and decrease as in the experiment, and the relative error tended to increase with wind speed, but reached a minimum at 7.9 % at 0.48 m/s.
