Abstract

In recent years, highly airtight and insulated houses have become popular as a measure to reduce energy consumption. However, there are problems in terms of thermal environment, such as the tendency for heat to accumulate in summer.

Therefore, this paper clarifies trends in reducing outside air load and investigates the actual state of the thermal environment based on data obtained from annual measurements of detached wooden houses with natural energy ventilation systems such as earth tube and roof thermal collection.
