Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the applicability of biomimicry in architecture. Biomimicry is the way to invent engineering solutions by imitating forms of nature. This paper shows literature research about biomimicry architecture and its analytical results. And numerical simulation is conducted to assess the performance of biomimicry architecture: the office buildings imitating cactus chosen as model of nature.
