Abstract

The daytime sky of Toyohashi was observed for one year from June 2021 to May 2022 using two all-sky cameras, a horizontal plane all-sky pyranometer, and a PV power generation facility. From the results of the observations, we created a weather database. We statistically analyzed the effect of the number of cloud layers on changes in solar radiation intensity based on the observation results, and examined how many layers of clouds should be taken into account in the solar radiation forecasting system using sky image analysis that we are developing in this laboratory.
