Abstract

Energy harvesting is a potential technology that converts ambient energy into electricity. In this study, we investigated a metal harvesting power generation system using a borax cross-linked PVA gel. The gel fabrication process was established, and its performance was quantitatively evaluated from discharge and polarization curves. In addition, we used the metal harvesting power generation system to drive the machine with a motor, for which we fabricated a gel with a hollow-cylinder shape.
