Abstract

In recent years, the rapid expansion of renewable energy, as typified by solar cells, has been remarkable. At the same time, the spread of energy in local areas is expected. However, as peak power generation times are concentrated, electric power companies continue to be forced to curtail output, and the output curtailment is said to amount to the equivalent of five nuclear power plants. In order to smooth out the fluctuations in renewable energy after each home consumes it as a load, a large-capacity storage battery is required. One way to avoid this is to lay low-voltage lines between neighboring homes and exchange power with each other. In this study, we conducted a simulation using two homes equipped with solar power generation systems and storage batteries as a prototype.
