Abstract

Physical standards, for example, stature or chest-circumference, established for different region, occupation or degree of intelligence differ significantly from each other. The difference can be accounted for by assuming different mixture ratio of eurysome, mesosome and leptosome types. So the establishment of physical standard for each body type is more convenient than for the region and the occupation respectively. As neither the body type nor the relative chest-circumference depends on the body weight, we can use the relative chest-circumference as the index of the body type. Asstftning a limit value of the relative chest-circumference for eurysome type, we established the standard values of this type (Table 3). In this table of the stature is smaller and the chestcircumference larger than the corresponding standard for the mixture of three body types while the body weight retains the same value. These standard values may be comparable with ones for other countries
