Neutron Scattering: From Fundamentals to Applications in High-Pressure Research

Abstract

This paper is based on lectures delivered at the AIRAPT-JSPHST Summer School Osaka 2025 held from September 24 to 27. It introduces the fundamentals of neutrons, their applications to various scattering experiments under high pressure (including elastic scattering, small-angle scattering, inelastic scattering, and quasi-elastic scattering), and examples of such experiments.
