Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of psychological characteristics of mentors and organizational factors on voluntary mentoring behavior. Questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze 287 samples. Psychological empowerment(PE)enhanced mentoring. The results revealed that mentoring behavior was inhibited by performance-based rewards system between groups. Interaction of these performance-based rewards systems enhanced mentoring behavior. In this study, it is demonstrated that the effects of performance-based rewards systems differ depending on the characteristics of the system.
