Abstract
The objectives of this study are : (1) to estimate the regional actual evapotranspiration in Okayama prefecture using two complementary relationships, CARE model and AA model, and (2) to discuss the differences between the two models. As a result, the evapotranspirations estimated by the AA model were in approximately agreement with those estimated by the water budget for the catchment; however, the evapotranspirations by the CARE model were not. The minimum evapotranspiration by the AA model occurred in the urban cities, such as Okayama city. To the contrary, the CARE model had the maximum values there.
