Abstract
Heat budget on the water surface was observed in the urban river. Two water bodies of different depth were chosen for the observation. Sensible heat flux on the shallower water body was +30Wm-2 at 14:00, on the other hand -4.5Wm-2 on the deeper one. The cooling effect of deeper water was clarified.
