Abstract
This research is an analysis of the characteristic of data of the applicability of satellite based precipitation data to execute the flood forecast in the place where the rainfall gauging is untried in the developing country. The accuracy verification was concretely executed based on already-known data of the gauged rainfall, and the feature was referred. It was confirmed that it paid attention to the spatial distribution of the rainfall because the tendency was not shown, and there were relations in the distribution of the rainfall area and the correspondence with data of the rainfall of the ground though it turned out to be evaluated to underestimate the satellite rainfall data than the ground observation data as a result of the accuracy verification.
