Abstract
The Kanda River is small river managed by Tokyo Metropolitan Government flowing from its source in the Inogashira Pond into the Sumida River along 25km and with a river basin area of 105km2. The Kanda River basin is one of the earliest urbanized area. Landside sewer inundation and small river flooding in the basin occurs every year. In this report, recent inundation in Kanda River basin was analysed. And rainfall properties related to the occurrence of the inundation was studied by using rainfall amount data obtained from high-density raingauge network system.
