Studies on flow regime affectted by decrasing fishery figure of sweetfish in the upper TONE river

Abstract

A lot of dams, which are controlled flow in Tokyo Metropolitan Area, have been built in the upper TONE river, Gunma Prefecture. It is problem that river animals included aquatic animals and fishes are affected flow regime by dams. We have studied flow regime that have an effect on sweetfish in a river ecosystem. In this article, we have studied sweetfish influenced by change of flow regime in the planning point of flow in Gunma. We show our success in decrease of sweetfish affected by variations in flow regime.
