Abstract

MRI-GCM20 precipitation has been compared with the ground observation data and it is found that GCM20 shows good agreement with observation for interannual trend. However there are discrepancies between GCM20 and observation for the absolute value of monthly precipitation and extreme value. In this research a simple statistical method which corrects GCM20 precipitation data for monthly and extreme precipitation simultaneously is presented.
