Abstract
We investigated the leaf spectral reflectance and the chlorophyll concentration in a larch forest, Japan. The spectral reflectance and the chlorophyll concentration showed seasonal change. The change rate was large especially in spring and autumn. A linear relationship was obtained between leaf reflectance at wavelength of 500 nm and the chlorophyll concentration except the data of summer season. The summer data showed difference from the linear relationship. A similar characteristic was observed in the canopy scale by the spectroradiometer.
