In this study, by applying the distributed runoff model that considers snowmelt and evapotranspiration, it is intended to accurately estimate the flow regime at any Sabo dam in mountainous areas and to calculate the amount of water available stably and micro-hydroelectric power generation potential. The results of this study make it possible to estimate flow regimes of the past 10 years at any point, and we believe that results with good accuracy were obtained based on the verification results. By applying this method, it is possible to estimate the past flow regimes and the power generation amount, and it is expected to become the clue to the examination of micro-hydroelectric power plants. Further, since it is possible to compare accurately generation potential of multiple locations under the same conditions, it is expected that the comparison of candidate sites of micro-hydroelectric power generation can be more rational and more well-grounded.
