Abstract
Some researchers say that the 40% of the foods in the world is produced by irrigation agriculture and agricultural water usage is dominant to total water consumption whole the world. The population growth will continue, so it is essential to estimate the future crop production. The inputs of the crop growth models are precipitation, temperature, shortwave radiation, and so on. In general, we use the outputs of GCM for input datas, but the GCM outputs have some biases, so we need to correct the biases. Not so many bias correction methods to short wave radiation have been proposed compared with that to precipitation. In this study, short wave radiation by MRI-AGCM3.2S is validated to observation and simple bias correction methods are applied and evaluated.
