Abstract
The largest river in China is Chang Jiang. The length of Chang
Jiang is about 6,300 kilometers. Using two-dimensional or three-dimensional
analysis for the large water system network like Chang Jiang is difficult
because of the huge sum of computational complexity. So we use one-dimensional
analysis replacing the distributary and tributary flow with lateral discharge.
The conclusion is that exchanges of momentum between main river and tributary
river resemble Reynolds stress.
