Abstract

This paper presents a sensitivity of soil type from two soil datasets Digital Soil Map of the World (DSMW) and ECOCLIMAP on runoff simulation by the Simple Biosphere Model including Urban Canopy (SiBUC) land surface model. The difference of soil content from two datasets are compared, and runoff is used to explain the sensitivity of the model to soil data on the upper part of Chao Phraya River basin in Thailand.
