Abstract

The nutrient effluent load from the surrounding paddy fields to Imbanuma was evaluated by frequent water quality observation 2-3 times a week. The total effluent load of TN was calculated for 3 years of irrigation periods. The reduction effects of nitrogen effluent by cyclic irrigation was quantitatively shown.
