Abstract

This paper presents a density-based topology optimization for two-layer material structure problems along with a design method for maximally stiff structures using machine learning. We applied a modified optimality criteria method to two-layer structure problems to investigate the effects of arbitrary parameters on optimal topology. In addition, we formulated a design method for maximally stiff structures using machine learning to reduce computational costs.
