Abstract
This research analyses the attributes of 3000 authors of seven journal articles of the Japanese language and linguistics from 1993 to 2005. The result shows the women and the foreign researchers have written more articles and about 20% authors did not belong the universities or research laboratories. Not only research tendency but also the time lags from the beginning to publish of the research have been long compared with natural sciences. A long-term tendency can be expected to be clarified by the continuous collection of such data in the future.
