Abstract
In this study, we analyzed 79 Japanese schools of medicine to assess the effectiveness of learning environment and educational programs in universities. The results of a multiple logistic regression analysis showed that in medical education learning environment didn’t significantly affect educational outcome while educational programs did. The findings were in agreement with many early studies on school effectiveness carried out in elementary and secondary schools.
