Abstract
In recent years, automation systems that autonomously conduct tasks on people's behalf are getting into our everyday life. In this article, first, based on previous studies, I showed the problems of using cognitive artifacts and automation systems and the evaluation methods that have been used to evaluate the artifacts and systems. Second, I showed a proposed usability questionnaire to evaluate daily used automation systems and explain about laboratory and field experiments conducted with the proposed questionnaire.
