While the public release of educational digital archives and various LOD datasets has progressed, mechanisms for federated search and utilization of these resources based on the Course of Study have not yet been sufficiently developed, posing challenges for their effective use in educational settings. This study constructs an educational resource LOD infrastructure centered on the Course of Study LOD by linking Textbook LOD, Unit LOD, video contents from NHK for School, and S × UKILAM Teaching Material LOD, and proposes a federated search method across learning materials that integrates and presents related teaching materials and video contents starting from textbook units. In addition, the search results are ranked based on the hierarchical structure of Course of Study codes so that educational resources with higher relevance to unit content are prioritized. A search experiment targeting a unit in lower secondary school social studies history confirmed high relevance among the top-ranked results. These findings suggest that the proposed method is effective, to a certain extent, for discovering educational resources related to a given unit through federated search.
