The Organization and Circulation System for Japanese Literary Research based on International Collaboration

Abstract

　From 2001 a new 5-years research project has been started in the National Institute of Japanese Literature, which is called the organization and circulation system for Japanese literary research based on international collaboration, founded by the Grant-in-Aid Scientific Research (S). The aim of the project is to construct the digital library system having functions as an archives center on Japanese literature, by international joint program. The project has three R&D themes for organizing databases and systems of practical use, such as various research directories, shared collaboration circumstances, and meta-data with common protocol.
