Abstract
Telecommunication network is an essential infrastructure for daily life and economic activities. Especially during major national disasters and other emergency situations, it is expected to supports to maintain governmental function and national security and to provide communications tools for safety confirmation. This paper provides impact of the earthquake and actions for recovery of Telecommunication network. And challenges and measures, to be taken to maintain communications capabilities during emergency situations, are also explained.
