Abstract
According to organizational studies, "Words" appeared in documents, e-mails and conversations used in a management organization are considered to reflect its characteristics. However, the methods for capturing "Words" by using a text mining technique are still in the developmental stage. In this paper, we proposed a systematic method for capturing the qualitative aspects of organization from the "Words" used in organizations. The proposed method includes text mining technique together with tools in statistics such as principle component analysis and correspondence analysis. It supports us to understand its characteristics systematically from viewpoints of Functionalist Approach in organizational studies. As an example, we also applied the proposed method to analyze the "Words" appeared in corporate philosophies.
