Information Quality Framework designed by Enterprise Risk Management and Lean Production System(<Special Issue>The Challenge to Medical Information Systems)

Abstract

Recently, there are various and many problems on information quality in various social organizations, although all kinds of information are increasing more and more. This article presents the Information Quality Framework designed by Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Lean Production System. The performance of the Information Quality Framework was discussed based on several practical examples which succeeded in improving information quality on a hospital and pharmaceutical company. Furthermore the Four Event Analysis is proposed as a tool of KIZEN process management.
