Effects of C Programming Education Which Makes a Point of Process with Evaluation Activity

Abstract

Learners need to take practical training in solving tasks at programming class, making trial and error. However, it is hard to give appropriate instruction to them because learners’ differences are in their learning process and their interest, which relates to enhance their motivation. Therefore, an evaluation activity was introduced in the class so as to grasp their understanding clearly and to give them detailed instruction. Learners’ consciousness and abilities in programming were investigated before and after introducing the evaluation activity. The analysis result proved it statistically significant that their abilities in thinking about algorithm, expressing in C language, and making better program improved. It was also found out that what activities were useful in improving their abilities and raising their consciousness by the survey of abilities and consciousness.
