Abstract
Frozen shoulder refers to a painful restriction of the movement of the shoulder joint in those middle-aged and above with no apparent cause. The symptoms involved are diverse and can be construed as defining a syndrome. When the cause or essence has become evident otherwise, a case should be taken from the diagnosis of frozen shoulder and given an essential pathological name.
Conservative treatment is the main treatment for frozen shoulder. The stages are a) early treatment in which relief of pain is worked on first of all, and b) chronic period treatment in which functional therapy is the main element.
Pumping therapy is generally effective for those shoulder which are slow to heal. Especially good results have been had with it for frozen shoulder. It is not only useful for shortening the length of the treatment period, but also can be used for screening for conservative treatment. But it is important to apply the pumping therapy technique carefully and gentle while making sure of the ref lux phenomenon.
