"Guidelines for Authors" in History Field : On Mentioned Items

Abstract

In this paper, I examined on the current condition of "guidelines for authors" of academic journals in history field, especially on items described in "guidelines for authors". First, the societies which issued journals were selected, and "guidelines for authors" were gathered. Second, the items described in "guidelines for authors" were listed, classified and examined. Third, I compared the result of this survey with the result of survey in science and technology field. Points revealed from this survey are: (1)the difference of items described in "guidelines for authors" is not significant between this survey and the survey in science and technology field ; (2)mentioned rate is various ; (3)the mentioned rate of some items are very different from them in the survey in science and technology field.
