The rare anomaly of gallbladder has congenital absence or double, but the report of human's double gallbladder is very rare and few.
The report of monkey's double gallbladder is not any as yet.
We observed double gallbladders of two cases by chance, when we were morphological studying liver of the 9 monkeys of Macacus fuscatus (Blyth) . The right gallbladders of the two cases is large and the left gallbladders is small. The double gallbladders are joining together and facing porta hepatis. And each ductus cysticus are uniting with ductus hepaticus communis separately.
In the NO. 1 case, cystic artery is distributed in gallbladder from hepatic artery separately. In the NO. 2 case, one cystic artery is divided into two branches and the each branches is distributed in gallbladder.
